Youth Sports
Kids Triathlon Training Groups
Ages: 6-15
The Attleboro YMCA is pleased to offer a free triathlon training course for youth ages 6 to 15 in preparation for the second annual New England Kids Triathlon to be held on July 21, 2013, at M.I.T.
The 6-week curriculum was developed by Kids Triathlon, Inc. to ensure that youth triathletes train safely and effectively in a supportive, encouraging atmosphere led by caring and knowledgeable trainers. Jaguars Youth Track & Field Program
Ages: 6-18
Under the direction of the YMCA’s Youth Wellness Specialist Ed Poirier and the Jaguars coaching staff, youth athletes participate in running, shot put, Javelin, long jump, and Cross Country. The program offers both parent and child fitness activities, including weekly fitness runs and walks. No mandatory practices or events. Come when you can!

Youth Tae Kwon Do Karate

Black Belts Karen and Jay Hewitt and Corey Rule teach Take Kwon Do to youth of all skill levels. This course is a good physical and mental program that also teaches Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Honesty.

Attleboro YMCA Summer Track Meet Series
All ages welcome – Youth, Adults & Masters
Discover how fast you can run, how far you can throw, and how long you can jump in this weekly series of track meets open to the community. Field events include shot put, long jump, and turbo javelin. Track events include the mile, 100 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter, 200 meter, and relay events. The events are divided in two-year age divisions for youth with separate divisions for high school, open, and masters as well.

Boxing Program
Ages: 9-adult
Students will learn the basics skills of boxing, while developing self confidence, fitness and discipline. Speed bag, heavy bag and jump roping are incorporated. Sessions are 1:1 for 30 minutes.
