Attleboro YMCA Summer Track Meet Series

All ages welcome – Youth, Adults & Masters

Discover how fast you can run, how far you can throw, and how long you can jump in this weekly series of track meets open to the community. Field events include shot put, long jump, and turbo javelin. Track events include the mile, 100 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter, 200 meter, and relay events. The events are divided in two-year age divisions for youth with separate divisions for high school, open, and masters as well.

Boxing Program

Ages: 9-adult

Students will learn the basics skills of boxing, while developing self confidence, fitness and discipline. Speed bag, heavy bag and jump roping are incorporated. Sessions are 1:1 for 30 minutes. Training is also available for those interested in Mixed Martial Arts. Please contact the Health & Wellness office at (508) 409-0767 to schedule training time.

Pickle Ball

Ages: 50+

If you’ve never picked up a pickle ball paddle, you don’t know what you’re missing! This cross between tennis, ping-pong, and badminton is easy to learn, but quickly brings out the competitor in all of us. This game has become very popular in retirement communities, because it allows players to maintain the thrill of competition, without some of the physical stress and injuries that other sports can cause.

Adult Karate

Ages: 18+

This eclectic martial arts form combines the strengths of various disciplines to emphasize self-defense, control, positive attitude and spirit. Year-round program.

Ultimate Frisbee Nights

Ages: 18 & older
