Sneakers Preschool Child Care Center provides your child with challenging and stimulating learning experiences. Certified teachers will lead your child through a variety of activities such as music, age appropriate projects, educational basics, gym time, occasional field trips, and outdoor recreation. In our licensed child care program, every child will have the opportunity to grow at his or her own pace while having fun and making new friends.

Sneakers is housed at the Centenary United Methodist Church, offering two large, well-lit, inviting classrooms with plenty of room for children to learn and play.

Program Philosophy
Sneakers Preschool Child Care Center provides care for children in a safe setting with opportunities for mental, physical, social and emotional development. Special emphasis is placed on increasing a child’s self-esteem and self-confidence. This is accomplished by offering a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities.
Core Character Values
The Attleboro YMCA is committed to helping children learn values that will enable them to build strong moral characters and develop strong spirits, minds and bodies. The core character values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility will be reinforced and instilled throughout your child’s experience within our program. These programs will be integrated into our curriculum through games, songs, and social activities.
The Sneakers program offers:
- Rotating schedule of activities which may include aerobics, karate, or swim lessons on select days.
- Gym time at the Y for gross motor activities.
- Developmentally appropriate projects.
- Health, exercise, nutrition and cooking
- Seasonal and multi-generational field trips.
- Well-equipped shaded playground area.
- A variety of changing activity centers within the classroom.
- Special activities for the entire family.
Rate Information:
(Effective September 2012)
• Full Day Program:
$38 a day for 2 days ($76 per week)
$36 a day for 3 days ($108 per week)
$34 a day for 4 days ($136 per week)
• Full week, full day program: $150 per week
(Please note that all Sneakers students must have a YMCA Membership.)
