Our Focus

Over the course of its 144-year history, the Attleboro YMCA has played a vital role in the Attleboro, Norton, and surrounding communities. All over town, people will tell you that the Y is the place to go for fitness, swimming, child care, camps, as well as youth and family programming. But why?

This is why: for youth development, for healthy living, and for social responsibility. All of our programs and services stem from this commitment to nurture the potential of every child and teen, to improve the nation’s health and well-being, and to give back and provide support to our neighbors.

For Youth Development

Instilling a sense of character, leadership, and values in our community’s children and teens is one of our focuses. Through positive role models and opportunities to explore their interests, we help children develop their own unique skills, encourage teamwork, and provide a safe and positive place to go.
