Swim Lessons are available at the Attleboro YMCA. See the list below for a description of the level and what skills are needed or will be covered. Times and prices are listed in the Program Guide .

| Preschool Lessons | ½ hour class teaching parent/child safety & water skill |
| Pike/Eel | Basic skills for children still using floatation devices. |
| Ray/Starfish | Use one or no bubbles, work on advancing skills & stamina. |
| Polliwog | Basic beginning skills for safety, floating & swimming. |
| Guppy | No bubbles. Front & back crawl, rotary breathing, diving, safety, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. |
| Minnow | Developing stronger & more relaxed strokes, learn elementary backstroke, practice survival/safety skills & increase endurance. |
| Fish | Breaststroke, front & back crawl coordination & balance, elementary backstroke, team work, open turns, surface dives & basic first aid skills. |
| Flying Fish | Perfect all strokes, build strength, and learn butterfly components plus practice challenging combinations. Lifesaving stroke & flip turns! |
| Shark | Butterfly, side stroke, individual medleys, stream-lining, correcting any developed bad habits. Hypothermia safety, lifesaving and advanced skills are introduced. |
